🔧 Setup & Activation Guide

This page helps you activate and configure your VerdantTrace device correctly.

Before starting, please confirm your device model and regional version (EU / US / Asia).

🐾 Step 1 – Insert SIM Card (if required)

For GPS tracking devices that require a SIM card:

• Ensure the SIM supports 4G LTE Cat-1 or compatible networks
• Disable SIM PIN code before inserting
• Insert SIM correctly and restart the device

If your model uses built-in CloudSIM (e.g., PetPhone), no SIM insertion is required.

📡 Step 2 – Configure APN (For SIM-based models)

If your device shows offline:

  1. Confirm APN details with your mobile carrier

  2. Send APN configuration via SMS (if supported)

  3. Restart the device after successful configuration

APN setup instructions are also available in the Manuals section.

📱 Step 3 – Download the App

Download the official tracking app:

• iOS – App Store
• Android – Google Play

Search for the app name listed in your device manual.

🔗 Step 4 – Bind Device to App

• Power on the device
• Wait for GPS / network signal
• Scan QR code or enter device ID
• Complete pairing process

If binding fails, ensure the device is not previously registered to another account.

🌍 Step 5 – Confirm Regional Version

Different versions support different network bands:

• EU Version
• US Version

Please verify compatibility with your local carrier before activation.
